The Joys of Fatherhood #4: Toying with minors.

So I'm reading the newspaper the other day and my son comes to me and says

"Dad, I want to get a mohawk."

"Dude," I say "no birds! We already talked about this once - "

"But dad!" He interrupts "It's a haircut. I want to get a haircut."

"Really?" I ask, putting down the paper. "Which one? And why narrow it down like that?"

"Ugh! I'm going to ask mom!" he says, and stomps off.

"You know son, the bald eagle is the only bird that never needs a haircut. Remember that." I call after him.

So he flips me the bird.

"Yeah," I think to myself as I pick up the newspaper, smiling. "He gets it..."
